Corporate Team Building Events & Activities

CoCo Events Inc. designs and produces team building events for companies across the New York City area — and supplies the games, tech, and activations that make them work.

Because we both run the event and own the equipment, you get one team handling concept, setup, and execution instead of a planner on one phone and a rental vendor on another. Faster to book, cleaner on the day, and usually better on budget.

Programs run from a two-hour office break to a full-day company outing, indoors or out, for groups from a 15-person leadership offsite to a 500-person family day.

CoCo Events at a glance: corporate programs since 1993 · 400+ owned rentals & activations · groups from 15 to 500+ · office, venue, or outdoors · one team produces and equips it all

How Our Team Building Programs Work

Most team building in New York is an activity. Ours is a program. Teams are formed at the start, captains are chosen, and groups compete head-to-head through a series of physical and mental challenges. Points go to winners and runners-up in each event, an emcee and sound system keep a running scoreboard all day, and the program ends with trophies, medals, or awards.

Want to take it further? We can outfit every team with matching t-shirts, bandanas, or hats. The structure is what turns a fun afternoon into actual team building — communication, problem-solving, and a common goal, with a scoreboard to prove it.

Team Building Activities We Produce

Every activity below is owned, staffed, and produced by CoCo — mix and match formats to build your event.

Custom Game Shows

Company-specific trivia and head-to-head team competition with a live host, buzzers, and scoring. We write the questions around your company — inside jokes, product knowledge, company history — so the game belongs to your team, not a template.

Groups 20–300 · Indoor · Best for all-hands, kickoffs, and holiday parties

Casino Night Team Building

Authentic casino tables with professional dealers — blackjack, roulette, craps, poker. Guests play with funny money and compete for prizes, which turns a cocktail hour into a room full of strangers becoming teammates. Works as the main event or a high-energy add-on.

Groups 25–400+ · Indoor · Best for milestones, client mixers, and holiday parties

VR & Arcade Lounges

Virtual reality stations and arcade classics set up as a free-flow lounge. Teams rotate through head-to-head VR challenges and high-score battles — low pressure, high energy, and it works for every fitness level. Our techs run every station, so nobody burns time untangling headsets — teams just rotate in and play.

16-Person Giant Foosball

Our human-scale foosball arena puts eight players per side inside the table. It’s the fastest icebreaker we own — nobody stays quiet strapped to a foosball rod next to their CFO. Teams rotate matches tournament-style with the scoreboard running.

8–16 per match, any group size in rotation · Indoor or outdoor · Best for mixers and field days

Giant Games

Oversized versions of the classics — stacking towers, connect-style games, lawn games — scaled up so the whole team plays at once. Simple to drop into any event, and the photos take care of themselves. We deliver, set up, and rotate the games through your space so the lineup stays fresh across the event.

Any group size · Indoor or outdoor · Best for picnics, lounges, and add-ons

Field Day & Company Olympics

Relay races, volleyball, soccer, ping pong, golf cages, and batting cages, organized as a company Olympics with team captains and a running points total. This is our signature outdoor program — built around the scoreboard format above.

Groups 30–500+ · Outdoor · Best for company picnics and summer outings

Carnival Team Building

Carnival games, midway competitions, and rides for company family days. Team scoring layers competition onto the fun, and it scales to the biggest groups we serve. We staff every game, run the prize counter, and scale the midway from a handful of booths to a full company carnival.

Large groups & family days · Outdoor · Best for company picnics and community events

Inflatables & Obstacle Courses

Head-to-head inflatable obstacle courses and challenge inflatables — the loudest cheering section of any field day. Pure energy, zero skill requirement. Courses set up side by side for true head-to-head racing, with our staff running heats and feeding results to the scoreboard.

Groups 20–300 · Outdoor or large indoor · Best for field days and family events

Custom Team Challenges

Purpose-built challenges designed around your goal — problem-solving builds, scavenger-style missions, or collaborative constructions. If the format doesn’t exist, our fabrication shop builds it.

Groups 10–100 · Indoor or outdoor · Best for offsites with a specific objective

team spirit

That’s the short list — with 400+ rentals and activations in our inventory, we can build a program no other team in your company has done before.

In Your Office, at a Venue, or Outdoors

We run team building in your office, at a venue, or outdoors. Some formats need a footprint; others drop into a conference room. And because New York weather has opinions, every outdoor program we design comes with an indoor pivot plan — the event happens either way.

Companies We’ve Worked With

CoCo has produced events and activations for major brands and organizations — including ESPN, Samsung, Sephora, PwC, Morgan Stanley, American Express, Microsoft, Google, and Bloomberg. The same production discipline that runs a brand activation runs a team building day: tight setup, clean execution, full strike.

Planning Your Team Building Event

Tell us three things: headcount, space, and what you want the day to do — break in a new team, reset a tired one, or reward a good quarter. From there we propose a program: which formats, in what order, with what scoring.

We handle the rest — delivery, setup, staffing, the emcee, the scoreboard, and the strike. Your only job on the day is to play. Most programs are scoped in a single call, and because the equipment is ours, there’s no vendor chain to coordinate or wait on.

What Makes Team Building Actually Work

After three decades of corporate programs, the pattern is clear: the events that work are the ones where everyone can compete. That’s why our formats mix physical and mental challenges, why the scoreboard rewards teams rather than stars, and why nothing on the menu requires being athletic, young, or loud. The goal is a room where the quietest analyst and the loudest sales rep end up on the same winning team — and have a story to tell on Monday.

Frequently Asked Questions

What team building activities does CoCo offer?

Custom game shows, casino nights, VR and arcade lounges, 16-person giant foosball, giant games, field day and company Olympics programs, carnival team building, inflatable obstacle courses, and custom-built challenges — all owned and produced by our team.

Can you run team building in our office?

Yes. We run activities in-office, at a venue, or outdoors. Some formats need a larger footprint; others fit a conference room. We’ll match the activity to your space.

What size groups can you handle?

From a 15-person leadership offsite to a 500-person company family day. Most formats scale by rotating teams through matches with a running scoreboard. [Sales team form will confirm typical group sizes.]

How long does a team building event run?

Programs run from a couple of hours to a full day, depending on the formats you combine and whether it’s a standalone event or part of a larger outing.

Do you just rent the equipment, or run the whole event?

Either. We can supply activities into an event you’re already running, or produce the full team building day end to end — emcee, scoreboard, staffing, setup, and strike.

What areas do you serve?

New York City and its boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, and the tri-state area, with travel beyond that for larger programs.
